Smith Shows His Support For Ochil And South Perthshire SNP Candidate

SNP Member of the European Parliament Mr Alyn Smith hit the campaign trail yesterday (Monday) with SNP Westminster candidate for Ochil & South Perthshire, Annabelle Ewing.
Smith, member of the European Parliament's Agriculture Committee also took the chance to visit local farms and Chairman of the Caledonian Market, James Cullens, to talk about farming issues and how the industry is faring.
Smith said:
Annabelle Ewing said:"The people in this constituency want a strong and experienced voice to fight their corner, to give them hope and to show them that a better Scotland and a better Ochil and South Perthshire is possible. For the people in Ochil and South Perthshire that person is Annabelle, and that's why I am backing her and showing my support."
"I always take every chance I can to see how things are working in practice, and it is was useful for me to hear first hand what problems our farmers are dealing with. Scotland has such world beating produce, local healthy and good, and we must always protect that legacy."
"It was good of local farmers to take the time to come and meet with Alyn and myself today. The meeting was informative and enjoyable and many important issues of the day were discussed. What farmers need from the forthcoming Westminster election is a local champion for their interests working hard alongside team SNP to deliver for Scottish agriculture."
