MEP Joins Livingston Candidate On The Campaign Trail
The pair will visit a local firm that makes wind turbine parts, the local further education college and a world class research and development institute.
Speaking on the visit Cllr Constance said,
"As the SNP prepares for government I'm delighted to welcome Alyn to theconstituency to see the excellent work that's being done in the renewable energy sector, further education and in research and development.
"The SNP is the only party that has a clear commitment to making Scotlandand Livingston a world leader in these fields. For too long we've been let down by Tory and Labour governments who've missed the boat in these areas and that has to stop."
Alyn Smith added,
"The people of Livingston and the surrounding area have a fantastic candidate in Cllr Angela Constance who already has a solid record withinthe local council.
"Livingston is a two horse race between the SNP and Labour and I'm confident that on May 3rd 2007 local people will choose Alex Salmond asFirst Minister an Angela Constance as their local MSP."
