Work for the EU

If you are looking to work for the EU, there are plenty of opportunities out there, though they are not always straight-forward to find. The links below should give you the starting points, and offer some good advice on how to succeed in what can be a very competitive environment.

The European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) site is a great place to start, with information on the types of opportunities available, upcoming competitions, FAQs etc. You can even run through a sample test for the position you may be interested in. This is also where you create or log into your EPSO account.

To get further information about the types of careers available in the European Commission, check out the Commission’s careers page.

The European Parliament Information Office has some interesting links on their Recruitment page particularly for those interested in internships and traineeships.

The European Movement Scotland has also got a jobs page. They also offer a number of internship opportunities throughout the year.

It is also worth keeping in touch with the organisations above on Facebook and Twitter to ensure you’re kept informed!
