€70 billion treasure map online

€70 billion in EU funds is now up for grabs and there's an online guide on how to claim a share of it.

SNP MEP Alyn Smith said:

"Scotland's scientists and small businesses have a chance to claim their share of €70 billion of EU funding. The online guide to getting a share of the new funding programme for research and innovation, Horizon 2020, shows how.

"Scotland is a top-class research nation but the EU red tape maze has made it a nightmare to apply for funding in the past. This guide is a treasure map to that funding and should encourage more of our academics and researchers to apply.

"Horizon 2020 is a fantastic opportunity. €70 billion is there for the taking and I want to see Scots making the most of it. We're in good shape and, with the help of this new tool, Scottish fingerprints could be all over future EU funding."
